After some considerations, I decided to start a blog... again.
I have created many blogs through the years, but no one have last a longer
time. Either I lost the inspiration to write, or I was busy with a new chapter
in my life which made my updates very few and in the end ran out of steam.
This time I want to share my journey, my experiences and the people that I meet here in my eight month long project in Mahendragarh, India. I’m here with two of my friends, Ilze from Latvia and Ermes from Italy. We started our travel together one year ago when we met each other for the first time in Denmark at the DRH SchoolLindersvold. Since then we have been together with our team, consisting of several fiery spirits from various European countries, studying, working and living together with the same goal in our minds; to go to a third world country and work as volunteers for eight months.
We are here now, placed at a teacher training school called D.I.E.T; District Institute of Education and Training and our task is to be a supplement among the teachers at this school. To teach them what we know and learn from them.
In this blog you will follow how we make our way in this foreign country and culture that India is for us, through my eyes and thoughts. I hope you will enjoy your reading.
